Ash Wednesday: February 22
We begin the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday. It is a solemn day of reflection and repentance as we confess our sins, receive the imposition of ashes, and receive the promise of forgiveness at Holy Communion. We will have two worship opportunities on Ash Wednesday – 5:00 & 6:30 p.m. A soup and bread supper will be available from 5:15 – 6:20 p.m.
Wednesday Lenten Worship: February 29 – March 28
Because Lent is a time to deepen our faith, we add an additional worship opportunity on Wednesdays. Unlike our WoW! Worship (Worship on Wednesdays) during the rest of the year, these services will have a different message than Sunday worship. Wednesday Lenten Worship will use Holden Evening Prayer as our liturgy, and will also include Holy Communion. This year's theme is The Apostles Creed and The Sacraments.
Our schedule for Wednesday Worship during Lent:
5:15 p.m. – Soup and Bread Meal

5:45 p.m. – Wednesday Education
6:30 p.m. – Worship with Holy Communion
7:25 p.m. – Confirmation Small Groups and Adult Praise Choir
